As spring planting and construction season will likely begin within a few weeks, Polk Equipment Inc. is open and committed to providing you with the most seamless customer experience possible in these challenging times. We have stocked our parts department and stand ready to support your equipment, parts, and service needs.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the recently issued “shelter in place” executive order by Gov. Holcomb of Indiana where certain businesses are defined as "Essential Businesses and Operations,” including those involved in the “manufacture, distribution, and supply chain for critical products and industries.” Those industries are specifically excluded from the order because of their importance to our national security and infrastructure. It specifically names agriculture and construction in the list of manufacturing companies, distributors, and companies producing and supplying essential products and services.

Because we are an essential business, our locations will continue to operate under normal business hours from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. To continue serving our customers safely and effectively, we will be preventing public access to our showrooms, parts counters, and sales offices effective Monday, March 23rd. Although the front door to our stores will be locked, our parts, service, and sales professionals will continue to meet customer needs.

Public Health Officials have asked people to remain quarantined to help them stem the spread of the coronavirus.

That said, we will be staffed with people to assist you with sales, parts and service needs.

Parts - Our parts department will continue to provide you with expert, timely and safe support in the following ways:

Parts Ordering

Call Us – Email us, As always, call our store and we will connect you directly with our parts experts who will assist you by phone. It may be helpful to take a picture or video with your phone, which you can email or text to help us ensure the correct part(s).

Parts Pickup

Pickup - Call-in, and we will be more than happy to come out and load your parts, Also you can let us know and we will put them out front for you to pick up.

Service & Support

Scheduling & Inquiries - Please call our store and we will connect you directly to schedule support or address any questions about work in progress.

Equipment Pickup & Drop-off - Once service has been scheduled and/or completed, we will call you to discuss details related to pick-up or drop-off of equipment and work with you to minimize unnecessary contact.

Shop & Field Service - Our team is taking added precautions to wipe down contact areas like door handles, steering wheels and controls to provide added safety.

Online Inventory - View our extensive inventory of new and used equipment online here- inventory Print equipment details & request follow-up from our sales professionals with ease.

Call Us - Please call our store and we will connect you directly, or you can call/text/email your existing Equipment Sales Rep as you normally would.

Farm/Site Visits - We will confirm any farm/site visits with you prior to arrival to respect your health and safety concerns, just as we have worked with our suppliers to limit visits to our locations.
